Urgent news:
A global shortage of Nitro Methane especially in the RC Market, leading to companies stopping manufacturing 30% Blends. Check the below links and hide all the 30% Nitro that you carry. Anyone interested in selling 30% Nitro blends I will be more then happy to buy.

I also heard another thing that is taking place, a person whose name I prefer not to mention, has bought all 30% nitro stocks from Riachi and some other places and now is selling at a price of $65/gallon

Did I mention that Electric rules???Wink
No shortage on Lipos as far as I knowLaughing

Rules what ? Why then Saouda hates his electric T-Rex and wants to get rid of it ? Michel got rid of his Ion-X ... the only one who seems to be enjoying electric is Carl but he has $2500 worth of lipos which will serve him for 1 more year as a max and during their lifetime they will be losing their juice and thus performance will be constantly diminishing. Last weekend I witnessed him disposing of one of his lipos ! For $2500 I would buy 100 gallons which will be flyable even 10 and more years from now and if you crash you dont crash them as they are in your store and not on board ur heli.
Wiith each flight a lipo loses 3% of its capacity, I am measuring this on my F-20's Lipo and the figure is 100% correct.

Why should some scary Lipos rule ???
Did u notice the hazardous charging problems,
on the other hand, some like fireworks inside
their home or maybe a car...
I really Love the sound of a gas engine.,Surprised

Of course, whether you are burning nitro fuel, gasoline or kerosene you have a full house of perceptions, the sound, the smell, the feel, the heat, the vision (smoke ... ) whereas electrics sound like carrot juice processors and thats all.
Btw remember the need for a nuclear electric power station to charge all those underdeveloped lipos especially if they are of some respectable size.

Guys, u deviated from the original subject. This is not a glow vs Electric (that would be a totally devastating war since electric sucks) war and remember Heli pilots if this all becomes true we already lost a permanent constant 33% in performance in 1 shot. Although no one was using the full potential of his engine but still this 33% extra power was making up for the altitude difference.
Kids play and fly with batteries and canned motors, the others use real engines....

Can't agree more! This thread is not meant to be another never-ending "The future is Electric" war.
But just a quick thought: Sometimes I wonder how certain so-called "Heli Pilots" feel when other so-called "kids" make their flying look like the worst way to waste a precious 30% nitro gallonRolling

I will tell you exactly how it feels:
It feels like when kids keep watching real planes and helis and dream about them and they only fly kites and rubber powered and lately battery powered foamies or plastic helis (this all happened after their nerves were not able to handle the real thing) and think they are flying the real thing up till one day there dreams develop to a complex clinical case with syndroms resembling shooting statements like "make their flying look like the worst way to waste a precious 30% nitro gallon"
And I believe the last quoted statement overweigh all what I said above but still I had to reply dear Guyo

I believe my previous statement rhymes very well with the one you previously "shot": "Kids play and fly with batteries and canned motors, the others use real engines", dear TanishWink

Let me tell you my point of view,
The real authentic classical RC hobbyists love this hobby as it is without this modern extravaganza brought forward by the advances in technology. Those people usually love aviation in general since they were kids and enjoy just flying around and building models. As for this heli hysteria that has become popular lately, it is neither interesting nor pleasing to the eye to look at, it is actually ugly and resembles watching a fly in panic ! And all those who got into it so easily are not real modellers, for them this was just another playstation II game ...etc

I am 100% backing you up Sexy Alexus Laughing on
this one.
This is called real modelling from plans,
building and finishing then flying .....
To model a real flown some time ago plane is
the issue .....
