I have a strong opinion that 2.4 is crap. Fullstop ! Radio manufacturers just needed to come up with something that would seem revolutionary for the end users and make them run to buy it thus substantially increasing their sales !

Again I am totally against the 2.4Ghz and agree it is a crap but also have to mention that 75% of all flying frequencies in major US events are 2.4Ghz

" but also have to mention that 75% of all flying frequencies in major US events are 2.4Ghz" That is because radio manufacturers provide the radios for free to the pilots and pay them money as well to market their 2.4 crap.
