Check the above link for the 801BC, it looks it is the best they have. It is 105$ , not that cheap especially if you add to it shipping ...
Its specs are not wow ! only 7 amps and 8 lipo cells. I would buy an equivalent of the Bantam e-station 902 http://www.bantam301.20m.com/902.htm but it seems they dont have it. what do you think ?

I personally have no problem with the missing balancing functionality as we can probably upgrade it ourselves if it's only a firmware issue, however if you wish to wait for a few more days then it's absolutely fine with me.

i sent him this :
Dear Mr.Bruce.
i have found the equivalent of the 801BC wich is the BC8 and its at 90 usd with all the features , even the balancer is included.
i am sorry for disturbing you but i think i am going to buy from them .
how come a charger like your 801bc dosen't have a balancer built in?
if you care to sell me at 100 usd then count on 7 chargers.
knowing that this is the first order and its for testing your products for consistency

the e-station 902 is the top of the line Bantam charger (said has one), it is very nice, reliable and known and sold at many good R/C shops. it is a bit fishy that it can be bought for 90$ as it sells at 275. It has excellent current and power capacity. At 90 $ i definitely want one. Make sure it is the V3 (version 3) of it as version 1 had a few shortcomings, the v3 supports all the new cell types like the M1 A123 cells. note that you need to use an external balancer with it.

Do you intend to buy these chargers this year or what??
Since we need these chargers for the multicell lipos charging function, we would prefer the charger with the built in balancer.

One for me Said, One for Guy, and one for Alex as approved by them.

See you next year.

I contacted the manuf of the e-station 902, he confirmed it has balancing ports built in and charges M1 and A123 cells. It looks nice and the specs are high. He is ready to ship sample units ($ 72/unit) + shipping $100 to lebanon for 5 or 6 units.
What do you think? should we go for it ? I forwarded the mails to Hady.
Hady, check them and let us know what you think.

21/8/2007
Well, we are taking a risk in the end, it is a cat in a bag ! But the specs he gave us are great and it has a built-in balancer. Either we take a chance or we dont, up to you guys.
I sent you all mails with the proforma invoice ... to summarize it, cost/charger $72 x 6 = $432 + shipping to Leb $328 = $760
Add to that $25 for wire transfer = $785 / 6 = $ 130 / charger excluding Lebanese customs.
Now I would rather forward the last mail to Hady or somebody ready to take the headache and copying Mr. Tam and will tell him to deal with that person (Hady or someone else). I prefer not to handle this myself for 2 reasons, 1 - I am travelling for 3 weeks next month so if the shipment arrives and I am not here it is a problem, 2 - If we run into any problems with the local customs, given my work I will not have time to deal with them .... so yalla , do you all want to go for it or not ? If yes who is ready to take it on himself ? Hady, I feel you lost ur drive Smile I am ready to act as a money collector and deliver the sum to you before the end of this week.
